We have been providing high quality software development services to several firms across industries which are both local as well global by means of its unique engagement models. We provide flexible engagement models as we understand different businesses have different needs and a rigid engagement model only hampers the development instead of helping it.
Engagement Models
Time and Material Engagement
In this engagement model we quantify the usage of time required by defined number of developer and other resources employed by us in the development process. This is a preferred approach for projects whose nature more is as follows:
Research and development oriented
Application maintenance service oriented, where the duration of the project cannot be determined at the initial stage of the engagement. Projects of this type may require constant upgrades and changes.
Dedicated Developer Service
In this engagement model, a dedicated group consisting of developers, project manager, team lead, testers and graphic artists as needed by the client is deployed on a single project per client basis for a defined period of time. The models allow completion of projects on predictable, low-risk path with high quality results. This engagement model is also a time and material type of engagement, only that it is generally more suitable for longer project duration for a team size of 3 to 15 developers. It can be deployed in the following modes:
Manage Mode
Developers fully managed by BlastAsia Project Managers.
The deliverables and system specifications will be fully defined by the client.
At the start of the engagement the Project Manager will be developing a detailed product backlog specifying the major feature list for the project.
Project Server is setup for the client for status tracking
Self Manage Mode
Full control over the offshore developers and technical resources are given to the customer.
The dedicated developers can be an extension of their IT resources or office.
A project coordinator is usually assigned to oversee and coordinates with the client with regard to attendance and other minor logistic concerns.
The deliverables and assignment of the developers will be the full responsibility of the client.
On-site and Off-Site Dedicated Developer Deployment
The project might require deployment of some of the members of the development team on-site.
This may be at the start of engagement and during the deployment stage.
